Become a Business Sponsor
and support the
Lockeland Springs Park expansion.

Why should my business support Lockeland Springs Park?

Now more than ever, parks and outdoor spaces have become essential places to gather and unite us. Your participation in this campaign will demonstrate your partnership with the East Nashville community, The Trust for Public Land, and TennGreen Land Conservancy to realize the dream to protect the forested oasis adjacent to Lockeland Springs Park.

In the past six months, we have raised $1.6 million for the acquisition of the land, but the need for support goes beyond the transaction. Your support will be a visible commitment to East Nashville, and we look forward to your partnership in this community-driven success story.

Lockeland Springs Park needs your help to:

Develop a Master Plan for
Lockeland Springs Park

As the park triples in size, a new plan is needed to ensure community priorities, natural resource protection, and recreation opportunities are incorporated into a long term vision for Lockeland Springs Park.

Create the Friends of
Lockeland Springs Park

As a component of the campaign, The Trust for Public Land is supporting the creation of the Friends of Lockeland Springs Park to steward your open space investment. The Friends will be a charitable organization approved to support Metro Parks in maintaining and improving this beloved park. Your gift to this campaign can translate into longstanding sponsorship in the future.

Repair and Restore the Park

The tornado damage to Lockeland Springs Park is extensive, and the new addition needs your help to clean up decades of illegal dumping. Your support will give us the resources needed to make vital repairs and clean up the park.

Celebrate Your Community Success

The East Nashville Community’s response to this project deserves to be celebrated. Join us to be a part of a community opening of the expanded Lockeland Springs Park in Spring 2022.

The Trust for Public Land has a successful record of leveraging public and private funds to support our projects; every $1 donated to The Trust for Public Land is leveraged to save $8 worth of land. Your early support will chart the course for the public-private partnership to expand Lockeland Springs Park.

In partnership with neighbors, fellow nonprofits, and philanthropists, you can advance this community-led vision. Together, we can rewrite this neighborhood park’s narrative and spark a new chapter for neighborhood park investment across Nashville.
